As The Pertanika Journal of Professional Development and Continuing Education (ProCEd) is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. These guidelines are informed by internationally recognised principles, particularly those outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and serve as a foundational framework for authors, editors, and reviewers involved in the publication process.
ProCEd ensures that all submitted manuscripts undergo rigorous and impartial peer review, with transparency and integrity at every stage from research conduct and manuscript submission to peer evaluation and final publication.
COPYRIGHT STATEMENT AND POST PUBLICATION
Copyright violation is an important, and possibly related, ethical issue. Authors should check their manuscripts for possible breaches of copyright law (e.g., where permissions are needed for quotations, artwork or tables taken from other publications or from other freely available sources on the Internet) and secure the necessary permissions before submission to Pertanika Journal of Professional Development and Continuing Education (ProCEd).
Our Publisher, UPM Press and Faculty of Education Studies (FPP) holds the copyright to all published articles. The author(s) should submit the Pertanika’s Copyright Permission form to the Editor-In-Chief once the manuscript has been accepted for publication.
Authors must ask for permission to publish their article (or a selection from the article) elsewhere, such as a Pertanika article later appearing as a book chapter or as a translation.
